La Maison en Pierre Bleue is a beautiful, stately country house, bordering on the Aisne woods. An enormeous garden with private forest is located behind the country house. Your children will enjoy themselves here. From the edge of the garden, near the forest, you have got a magnificent view of the Aisne valley. You will also find a large terrace to enjoy long summer nights outside.
A stonemason named Pierre Buiton built the house in 1934. He has, of course, chiselled his name in one of the facades of the house. His intention was to build the house as a proof of his skill and to use it as a showcase. He finally decided to live there himself, together with his family. Early 2007, the current owners Leontien and Freek immediately fell in love with this very cosy house full of authentic details. From August through to December 2007, they have invested in a thorough renovation to comply with all modern safety standards, while adding some extra comfort with two additional bathrooms.
